Who is Open House Baking?

Hi! We’re Kia and Kim, two sisters who come from a long line of bakers.

Growing up, we spent countless hours in the kitchen, trying new recipes and cherishing old family favorites. There's nothing we love more than creating beautiful and delicious treats for our family and friends. Food is our love language and we are fluent in sweet treats!

From cakes and cookies to macarons and cupcakes, we love to help bring your vision to life.

Our doors are always open and we'll always have a sweet treat for you. Welcome to Open House Baking.

I worked in HR for 20+ years and decorated cookies at nights and on the weekends.

S’mores bars. That homemade marshmallow gets me every time.

I love to take naps. Is that a hobby? Napping is my favorite.

Weekends are for church with the family and then brunch. Mmmm, french toast.

Chicken Tikka Masala.

Hiking in the mountains in the fall.

Hidden Talent?

I make a heck of a macaron. Oh, wait. You said “hidden…”

An administrative assistant.

Morning Routine

I run 2 miles every morning before work.

Just kidding. I snuggle with my dogs while checking Facebook, then drink some coffee and head to work to bake amazing things!
